Builds Capability in Executive Acquisition and Organizational Advisory
“Having the depth of Shrikant’s leadership experience at scale is a game changer for our clients. We can immediately advise clients on how new AI/ML technologies can be structured into existing teams, assess and develop leadership as well as organization structures. As a testament to his advisory capability, Shrikant was Chief Analytics Officer and Head of Marketing Technology & Operations for the Global Consumer Bank at Citigroup, and a member of the GCB executive committee”, said Jeff DeFazio, Managing Partner, and Founder.
Shrikant leadership experience strengthens the firm’s ability to accurately identify and assess Chief Data Officers, Compliance, Risk, and CISO leaders in Executive Search leveraging the firm’s IP process. His existing Board of Directors experience deepens the firm’s Organizational Advisory capability, helping Boards and CEOs navigate the burgeoning field. As an example, he has been a nominated board director for MasterCard Europe, Discover’s Asia subsidiary, as well as Goldfish Bank in the UK and is/was a strategic advisor to several companies including Brewer Lane Ventures, Discrete Kernel Systems, and Tech4th Solutions.
Three Decades Operating Experience Leading Analytics, Risk & CRM Operations
Prior to Citi, Shrikant held several functional, operating and P&L leadership roles at General Electric, Morgan Stanley, and most recently, Discover Financial Services, where he served as Senior Vice President of Decision Management, and a member of its management committee. “He’s one of the very rare, true pioneers in the field having significant leadership experience in AI/ML, and in CRM solutions, from his early work building a global analytics solutions business for General Electric Company in the 1990s”, said DeFazio.
“The multi decade operating experiences of all the partners at Carpe Diem was quite important. Here, I am working side by side with like-minded colleagues focused on solving complex client problems be it at scale, or emerging businesses. They think and behave like operating leaders, not consultants. The culture of transparency, collaboration, and accountability to clients and colleagues is consistent with my values”, said Shrikant.
Shrikant has a B.A. (Honors) degree from Ravenshaw University, a M.A. from the University of Hyderabad, and an A.M., Ph.D. from the University of Rochester. He holds several US patents in the area of financial services intelligent decisioning.
